Devon Montessori Training Centre (DMTC)works in partnership with Montessori Centre International, the largest training organisation in Europe. DMTC provides MCI distance learning students with the opportunity to attend their Apparatus Workshop in Devon.

About Devon Montessori Training Centre

DMTC is run by Ruth Beck-Mylius who for 20 years has gained valuable experience as a Montessori classroom teacher and lecturer. In addition to running and delivering courses at DMTC, Ruth is the owner/manager of Chagford Montessori Nursery School. Ruth has worked for MCI for 12 years as a Distance Learning Tutor, Teaching Practice Tutor, Lecturer and Examiner.

Early years practitioners can gain Continuous Professional Development, network and socialise through attending ad hoc days of the Apparatus Workshop. If you are a qualified Montessorian and would like CPD or if you are an early years practitioner or parent and would like to find out more about Montessori education you are welcome to join us for any of the workshop days please email for more info.
